Gauze Labyrinth Town Hall Salzburg 2004

Labyrinth printed on gauze in 3 parts (7 paths, permanent), exhibition in the townhall of Salzburg
Material: gauze
Dimensions: 2.7 m x 2.2 m

The labyrinth is displayed in a vertical position. There are two layers – the middle part of the labyrinth is printed on the front layer. The transparency of the material represents the non-material aspect. The labyrinth hangs in space like a (stage) scrim, shifting between the every day world and that of the imagination, and taking on some of the qualities of the light labyrinth.
It hangs in space as though sent from heaven and invites people to enter a new realm; to see things differently.
