Walkable labyrinth from dressing
Marianne Ewaldt / Elfriede Hufnagl / Christiane Pott-Schlager
On the green area of the ART BV Bechtoldvilla, Salzburg, a walkable Classical 7 path labyrinth has been realised from 200 metres of dressing, i.e. cotton cloths with colour tracks and tracks of decomposition, and metal buttons to anchor them into the ground.
Diameter approx. 12 m
Time frame: The labyrinth will be finished and ready to be walked for the vernissage of „DER MENSCH IM MITTELPUNKT“ in November 2014. They could remain lying there over the winter months until the spring of the following year, and by tramping and mowing the paths even remain visible for a longer time. In the course of time the cloths will sink into the earth. What remains, is a lawn labyrinth; therefore the nature is a perfect place of transformation.
